Family Shoot 2013

It has been a while since I last posted on the blog and a lot has happened. The main one being that … WE HAD A BABY!! Our lives have been turned upside down and inside out but we just adore our little man. I could not get my act together to get a newborn shoot with him so this is our first bunch of family pictures together. It was pretty rushed as I had just booked it the week of and the photos were edited just in time to get Christmas cards ordered (& hopefully sent on time). We had the shoot with the lovely Ginger over at Thibodeau Designs. She does excellent work with children and was able to do a 20 minute mini-session with us. Pictures turned out beautifully. Here are my favorites!

 

 

Best 2012 Memories

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope 2012 was everything you hoped for & then some …

As a way to recap the year, I thought back to all of the special memories that happened and chose my top 10 from 2012. The pictures are found in order as they happened throughout the year… so from January to December.

1) Trip to visit my parents in Key West, Florida during March Break!

2) The birth of our precious little miracle niece.
Born prematurely and weighing in at 2lbs. 1oz., she is truly a miracle & we love her very much! xox

3) Cavendish Country Concert for some pre-bachelorette fun with the ladies. Alabama & Rascal Flatts were amazing!

4) Best friend’s big BACHELORETTE @ Broadleaf Farms, N.B.

(She would kill me for posting this in so many media forms but I know she’ll still love me…)

5) Becoming Godparents! xo
When hubby’s sister asked both of us to be our niece’s godparents,
we were truly touched and blessed.

6) Best Friend’s Wedding! In true country form …

7) First Year Anniversary Trip!
Hubby, Boots & I decided to pack up and head down to my husband’s uncle’s camp which is right on the Miramichi River.
We had beautiful weather, enjoyed each other’s company
& Boots was obviously in Heaven!

 

 

 

8) Brother’s Wedding in Red Deer, Alberta!
It was so special for me to have my baby brother marry the woman of his dreams and best friend. She is an amazing person and I am so lucky to call her a sister now.

 

 

 

9) Trip to NYC with Mom!!!
It was my first time in the Big Apple and had an amazing time with my mom seeing the sites, enjoying a few shows and getting a little shopping in, of course!

 

 

 

10) BEST MOMENT OF ALL ……………..

Baby J!

My husband and I could not be more excited to be welcoming our first child, June 2013!

2012 was an amazing year but …
I have a feeling that 2013 will be even better!

Summer hiatus over!

Hello bloggers!
Firs, I must apologize for taking the ENTIRE summer off from my blog.

I also was not completely sure if I really wanted to continue blogging but something keeps bringing me back. YOU. I love meeting new people, hearing about their stories and interacting with my fellow bloggers.

I hope you all had a wonderful summer, I know my husband and I sure did.

I must go … but will write again later as this is what I must do…

 

We are really excited to be receiving my husband’s cousin, his wife & their doggie Java later this afternoon … but as we have been away on trips, out to the River, spent some time at the cottage – our house is a MAJOR DISASTER ZONE.

We have three hours before they arrive (I HOPE) … Chop, Chop, Chop!

Back-to-blog!

Welcome back bloggettes .. I have been away from my blog for quites some time now & have finally returned .. incredibly happy & ... MARRIED : )

This past summer was the GREATEST summer of my life because ... 

I got to marry my Best Friend :)
................................................

Overall, we had an extremely busy summer ...
We attended my cousin's beautiful wedding in Grand Pré, NS on July 9th ...

I was in one of my bestest friends (basically my little sister)  wedding on July 16th ..
 

.................

And then enjoyed a month of pre-wedding celebrations which included 2 bridal showers, a 3-day staguette, week long stag & lots of Pool time (we've got an in-ground in the back yard) ..

And finally our special day was ours ...

on Saturday, August 13th 2011, we celebrated our wedding. 

It was an amazing day spent with so many friends & family..

a day we will cherish forever.
